Good Restaurants in Downtown Disney or in one of the Disneyland Hotels?

Hi, I'm turning 14 in a few weeks, and I was hoping for some restaurant recommendations in Downtown Disney or a Disneyland or CA Adventure hotel (not someplace that we have to buy a ticket to get to; people my dad is coming for dinner on my birthday just for the night). There will be five us: Me, my mom, my brother, my friend, and my dad. Any recommendations, or even places I should stay away from, will be appreciated. :) Thanks!

If you plan on doing a sit down restaurant in the park, make sure that you call Disney Dining for a reservation as soon as you decide which one to go with. Their number is 714-781-DINE.

Some of our favorite restaurants in the park are:

The Blue Bayou, it's right inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It's a little more on the pricey side, but the food is excellent. My fiance and I went there right after we got engaged so it's got a bit of sentimental meaning as well. Unfortunately it won't work for you, but you really should check it out sometime!

Napa Rose is inside the Grand California Hotel - it is one of the most expensive restaurants in the Disneyland area but the food is fantastic. It's a true five star dining experience.

If you like character dining, my favorite place is Ariel's Grotto. I find the food is best there and it has the princesses - which are my personal favorites (even though I'm 26).

Goofy's Kitchen isn't too bad either, food isn't fantastic at any of the character dining, but it's decent. Goofy's is in the Disneyland Hotel.

In Downtown Disney Ralph Brennan's Jazz Cafe is reasonably priced and delicious. We had a fantastic time there the last time we went.

If you like Mexican Tortilla Joe's is a must. They are reasonably, the food is great and they stuff you with tortilla's and salsa as an complimentary appy. I accidentally filled myself up on it the last time.

The Rainforest Cafe is okay too. You can find these all around America though so it's not uniquely Disney. The decor is cool though, like you're in a Jungle.

There isn't a place that's really terrible, but I generally stay away from House of Blues (in DTD) and the Carnation Cafe. I wasn't really impressed with either place - the food is much better elsewhere.

Enjoy your birthday in the happiest place on earth!

In the Disneyland Hotel, they have this restaurant called Goofy's Kitchen. It's a character dining buffet where all the famous Disney characters go in and out of there and hang out with everyone eating. And since it's your birthday, you'll get totally amazing service. But if you do decide to go here, definitely make reservations ASAP or you could be waiting for a few hours before you finally get your table.

Hi
I have been to disneyland multiple times and my absolute favorite place in downtown disney is Naples. They have great pizza! This is really casual so If your looking for something more fancy Catal is a great place but it is more pricey and fancy. These are more dinner places and less disney places. ie these restaurants could be anywhere in the world. If your looking for a disney atmosphere I'd go with Goofy's Kitchen. Here is where the characters are. Even though your 14 you might still like just hugging a character. Plus they have cool different food. I also here it is great with birthdays. I know the other hotels have restaurants, I have just never been there. There is also a rainforest restaurant with mist in downtown disney. I have never been there so I can provide no Info on that. that could also be a cool atmosphere. Hope this helps!!

Answer :
First there is no Ca Adventure Hotel which probably you're thinking of the Grand California Hotel
The two comes to mind and I really do like are Catal which is in DTD and the other one is Storytellers Cafe which is in the Grand California Hotel.
