Boyfriend pays for everything on date ?

I am starting to feel a little awkward on dates , my boyfriend insists on paying for everything even really expensive stuff like we went to dinner and the tap was 70 dollars and he still wouldn't even let me add a 5 for tip , I always will try to insist on paying for the movie ticket but so far even if we go to Disneyland where the tickets are 80 dollars a piece he still pays. How can I tell him nicely that it makes me feel awkward.

Answer :
This is what a gentleman would do. However, you could invite him for a special dinner or a movie once in a while and tell him before you go that it's your treat for him :)

P.S. If he insists, do not urgue with him and let him do it.
If you think he's doing this just to get something in return, this is no good.

wish you the best!

Answer :
You should not feel awkward. You should feel blessed. He is a true gentleman. He is taking on the TRUE roll of being a MAN. You are more lucky than you know to have him. Always remember to thank him. The next time he says he won't take any money thank him and let him know that if he ever needs you to pitch in that he can say so and stop insisting about it. He will get tired of you trying to knock him out of his role as a MAN.

Answer :
I would tell him that it would make me feel good to be able to pay the tip...or something of that sort. Maybe if you say it would make you feel good, he would let you...I mean, he doesn't want you to feel bad, does he? haha. Thats what I always do with my boyfriends. Have you been dating him that long? Usually they are like that if you havent. The more comfortable you guys get with eachother, the more likely he will be to let you pay occasionally. But never let him take advantage.

Answer my question, sil vous plait! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoOK36SXEbU3rl64sFqDVT_sy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20100213222051AAaYC9b

Answer :

Answer :

I did the Give A Day Get A Disney Day program. Can I give my free ticket to my boyfriend's little brother?

My annual pass is going to expire in March and I was unsure if I was going to be able to afford renewing my annual pass and paying my monthly fee, so I did the Give A Day Get A Disney Day program to receive a free Disney ticket. Now that I am able to pay for renewed Annual Pass, I am left with the free Disney ticket. In such a circumstance, I would have no problem donating it to a Boys and Girls Club but I face a little problem. My bf and his 4 younger siblings have complete their volunteer opportunity and have we are planning on going to Disneyland together. His youngest little brother, age 5, was obviously unable to volunteer due to the minimum age being 6 years old. The reason they did the Disney program was because of the financial problems they face, just like the rest of America. They can't afford to pay the extra ticket. So I was wondering if I can redeem my ticket when we go to Disneyland and give it to his little brother? If someone has gone and redeemed their free Disney ticket, I would like to know if after redeeming it, is there any possible way for the workers to know who the ticket belongs to, i.e. my name on the ticket? It would be wonderful for his siblings to all go, my bf and I are the only ones who have gone before. I know that they wouldn't enjoy it as much if they knew their youngest brother was unavailable to share this moment together.

Answer :
The idea of the program is for people to volunteer. If you tell them that you want to use your free ticket for the five year old, they probably wouldn't let you. But, if you go to Will Call and pick up the ticket, they are going to ask for the ID of the person whose name is on the community service hours.

So here is my advice, I would pick up the ticket, and use your ID saying its for you, and at the gate to the park, just use the free ticket for him. They don't look at names on the tickets at the gate to the park. As long as you have X number of tickets for the X number of people and they all are not expired etc. You should be OK. Hope this helps.

PS. Just advice, I would get to the park a little early on the day you are using the free tickets. We did the Free on your birthday in June and spent over half an hour at will-call because of all the people participating.

Answer :
We haven't used it yet, but my understanding is the ticket has your name and date of birth on it, and you have to show ID to redeem.

Answer :
When you print out your voucher, it has your name on it. You must be the person there with government issued ID to turn in the voucher and redeem your one day/one park admission ticket. Once they give you the ticket for free admission, you can then give it to whomever to use. They may ask you to sign the ticket, but they don't check that at the gate. They just scan the ticket to make sure it is valid.

I just used my free ticket to renew my annual pass saving $72! I donated blood at a hospital down the street. It was so easy.

Im going to Orlando to Disneyworld alone for two days. Can you tell me what attractions are the must sees?

Spring break is coming up at my school so I'm going on a vacation alone, yes alone to Disneyworld. Since I'm coming from California I had enough to pay for the flight and the park tickets for 2 days. Ill get there on thursday and go to the parks Friday and Saturday. Im planning on seeing Orlando Thursday. Im excited and nervous at the same time. Ive never flown before!

Anyway my top goals were to visit the magic kingdom and the animal kingdom for sure. Not so sure what the other two have but I figured since Im at Disneyworld, might as well go to them all because I have a two day parkhopper. Being a California resident, I have been to Disneyland a lot so I was thinking the Magic Kingdom visit could be a "half day" visit and then head to another park.

So those of you familiar with Disneyworld, tell me what are must sees so I can make a priority list. So far this is what I want to do:

Space Mountain
Expedition Everest
Safari ride
Soarin over California

Just add to the list! Thanks!

Answer :
You've been to Disneyland, so I'd think that you would want to go to Fla. and see things that you have NOT seen at Cal. That SKIP Soarin' and Space Mountain. Space Mt. at Cal. is two seats wide, in Fla. it's one seat wide, but are quite similar. Soarin' is differs only in the cast-member costumes.

I was at WDW in 2006 for 4 day for the first time since I was to WDW in the 1970s. For the MK my priorities were to skip anything that I had seen back then ...but go to Space Mt.

A lot of attraction involve some sort of theater, with a show of Audio-Animatronics or a 3-D film. Are you not interested in these?

Answer :
Since you are traveling alone be sure to ask the person at the fast pass line if they have any single rider tickets. Usually these are available for rides like the Rockin Roller Coaster and Expedition Everest. You get to go to the head of the line and if they have one open seat you get to get on. It will save you a lot of time.

As far as the parks go the Animal Kingdom is usually a half day show and the Magic Kingdom is pretty much like Disneyland. I suggest you go to Disney Studios instead.

Answer :
Honestly i'd say skip animal kingdom, there isnt too much to see. Try Hollywood studios instead, it will make your trip more memorable and there are many live shows to see.

For magic kingdom: get there early and grab a fastpass for one of the 3 mountains: space, splash or thunder, then headover to buzzlightyear. After hit up philharmagic or pirates of the caribean. I know its silly but after running around mk all day u mihgt want to go on its a small world, because it is long and u get to sit down for a while, so its a nice break if u dontmind the sining dolls, haha. TTA is another one that u can go on for a little break, its in tommorrow land. ANother "break" ride in tommorow land is the carousel of progress... i peronally really like that one. It's a classic.

As for Animal Kingdom: i've been to Disneyworld 26 times and im 15, but i've only been to ak 3 times, i dont really like it at all, the saffari is awesome but other than that and expedition everst, there isnt anything worth a park admission. But if you're into photography there are SOOO MANY photo oppurtunities there

If u plano to go to epcot: runover to soarin and get a fastpass, then head over to test track and ride, if ur fastpass isnt readdy after u ride test track then maybe go over to ellen's energy ride or walk around worl showcase, u could also go on Spaceship earth, THAT ONE IS ALWAYS FUN... its a slow moving ride, but its pretty cool, and there are many hidden mickeys.

Then Hollywood studios (MGM): this one is my absolute favorite. DEFINTIELY go on toystory mania, my favorite ride, and tower of terror, get a fast pass for either, they are both sooo good. Also go on great movie ride, its really interesting, and gives a nice look at some classic films. try to go to a showing of lights, motors, action, its is sooo cool, its all about actions films... its soo awesome!

ummm hmm i could go on forever about disney its like my second home... but ill leave it at that, HAVE AN AWESOME TIME!!!!!!!!!! :D

Oh, and if u have an iphone, u can buy apps about disney, that show ride waiting times, show times, park hours, hidden mickeys, and park maps, Its worth spending the money especially if u are a newbie to disney...

Plus dont worry about the airplane ride, as long as u have an ipod and a couple of snacks it will go by fine.

Again have an awesome vacation, but one more tip, since u are going to disney alone, u get to go in a special line, on some of the bid rides, like test track, space mountain, and and some of the other rides... it will really save u time!!! So take advantage of it.

Have fun!

Is it possible to share/transer a Disneyland 3-Day Park Hopper Bonus Ticket?

A friend of mine from out of town went to Disneyland and only used 2 of the days. She gave me the ticket so that I could go to the park for 1 day for free. The card has a line for a signature, but it is not signed. It says non-transferable on it, but will they really check ID? I'm a SoCal resident and I've transferred the 2-fer before, but I don't want to go to the park, pay for parking, and then get turned away with this ticket.

Answer :
The terms of the ticket that it must be used by the same person on any and all days. However, without the ticket being signed there is no way they would know(or care) if it is the same person to have the last day used by a different person to use it to enter the Park.

Another thing that you do need to verify is that the ticket is still valid. They are only good for 13 days from the date of first use. So if it has been longer than that it does not matter if it is the same person or not, the ticket is no longer valid.

Now, one point where they are a little more strict with that ticket is if you want to upgrade to something like an Annual Passport. Because ticket sharing does happen, if you use that ticket to try and upgrade to an AP the Cast Member may ask you several questions about the ticket. They do this to check and see if you are the actual person who bought the ticket, or at least know enough where they can't say otherwise. They keep just about everything that was done with that ticket, from how it was bought to if you ever got any fastpasses. So there are several questions they "could" ask.

Answer :
You can use the ticket. They will scan it when you enter. Even if it was signed they aren't going to verify that it's your signature. As long as the ticket is still good, you should be fine. Remember, there is only a specific period of time that you are allowed to use the ticket after it's first use. So don't wait too long.

Answer :
You can use it..
But since they scan it.. keep in mind the DAYS the ticket was used.. because a lot of times they will ask you because they KNOW that people transfer tickets..

it really just depends on the person scanning your ticket..

Answer :
you can use it...all they do is scan the ticket, but they never ask to verify your ID, so they'll never know.
