Disneyland special fastpass exchange card...?

I'm going to disneyland for a school trip and i've already paid for the tickets and everything. but my mom read about the disneyland special fastpass exchange card that you can get for volunteering somewhere. exactly what is so special about this card and would it be worth it for me to get it? thanks.

Answer :
They do have a special Fast Pass, but you have to meet certain requirements to obtain it.

Number 1: You must complete the Disney "Give a Day, Get a Day" charity volunteer program.

Number 2: You must already have a multi-day pass or an annual pass.

By doing the volunteer program you earn a one day, one park admission ticket, but if you already have a multi-day ticket or annual pass that would do you no good. So they offer you the special Fast Pass. It basically allows you and up to 5 others a Fast Pass without actually having to obtain them at the individual rides and making you wait for a specific time.

Here is the website if you are interested in the Disney "Give a Day, Get a Day" charity volunteer program: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyp…

I did it back in January by donating blood at a local hospital. Used my voucher to renew my annual passport saving me $72.

Answer :
It's actually not a "fastpass exchange card" or anything. It's a program that Disneyland is calling the "Give a day, get a day" special. You must pre-register for this.

It basically gives you a free one day, one park ticket to either Disneyland Resort or Disney's California Adventure for volunteering somewhere. I think it's worth it for sure, considering the prices of the tickets depending on what you're going for and it gives people an incentive to volunteer for something.

Unfortunately, any Disneyland theme park ticket is non-transferable. You are unable to use the tickets you already purchased to trade it in or get your money back so you can get the promotional volunteer ticket. You'll have to keep the tickets you already bought, but if you have a chance to go to disneyland again and the promotion is still going on, then I would keep it in mind!

Have fun!

Answer :
If you do the volunteer day, and you already have a multi-day ticket or season pass, you can get Instant Fast Pass tickets instead of a free day. The way I understand it, you can only take this option if you already habe a multi-day ticket, not just one day. These are just like Fast Passes except you can use them instantly to get on the ride in the fastPass lane instead of waiting until a certain timeframe to use them.

If you are going with a group, might not be the best for you since your friends would not have them, unless you all want to volunteer together. Otherwises, these are a great alternative option to save lots of time. If they are the same passes they gave us on our last trip to make up for an error they made, you can even use them on some rides that normally don't take fast passes, like Peter Pan. We just went up through the wheelchair lane and showed them to the attendent, and got to skip the 1-hour line.

Disneyland Ticket Help?

next month, i'm going to disneyland with my friend. i saw on the disneyland site that if you're a california resident, which i'm not, it's only $97 for a 2-day parkhopper[disneyland and california adventure] ticket, but if you're not a resident, it says that the price is $151 for a 2-day parkhopper ticket. i was going to use my aunts address, but i heard that they make you have some sort of verification of your address on you when you get to the gate. has anyone had experience with that? also, i was wondering how much tickets are at the gate, parkhopper or not, because that's what i might just end up doing if it's cheaper.

well any help would be chill
thanks

peace
&
love

Answer :
I live in Southern California, but I am not considered a resident yet. To get my annual pass (which requires you to show verification of residency) I got my boyfriend (who is a resident here) to actually pay for the pass even though my picture and name are on it. All representatives I spoke to said the only way for a non-southern California resident to get the special discount prices for any ticket is to get a California resident to purchase them for you regardless of who they are for.

My best friend came here to visit me a while ago. My boyfriend (who is the California resident) bought her a 2fer ticket (which is a special Southern California resident ticket) for around $70 which allows you to go to one park one day, and the next park the next day with the same ticket. They did not check any identification or verification when she arrived at the park. They only did that when my boyfriend paid for it the day before. If you're able to get your aunt to go in person or online to buy the ticket, then you can use the ticket just fine without her there. I doubt you'd be able to use your aunt's address without having to show verification such as ID or License to show that you actually live there.

Tickets at the gate are:

A ONE day park ticket: $72.00
A ONE day PARK HOPPER ticket: $97.00
A TWO day PARK HOPPER ticket: $151.00

Again, if your aunt is able to go buy one for you, the prices are different. The tickets for SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA residents are:

A 2fer ticket (disneyland one day, california adventure the next): $72.00
A TWO day PARK HOPPER ticket: $97.00

Hope this all helps!

Answer :
If you need proof of address for your aunt's house, just sign up for something online (it doesn't matter what) and have them mail you information. Give your aunt's address as your own and the junk mail will arrive at your aunt's house with your name on it. Two pieces of mail should be enough to prove your residence in Cali. Hopefully you don't have to have a state issued ID or this method will not work, of course.
